Adrian Paul: My foot caught the top of the banister... and I went flying.

Female Announcer: [voice-over] --to his testosterone-filled sword fights. [clip of Adrian and Val fighting]

Male E.T. anchor: Well, over the last few months, the people who sent email letters to us here at E.T. online just cannot stop singing the praises of Adrian Paul. No wonder. He is the Highlander and he is all pumped up to prove it.

Male Announcer: [voice-over] High action from a cool hero. Adrian Paul is the Highlander, a sexy sword-swinging Scotsman with the supernatural gift of immortality.

[SUPER: BORDEAUX, FRANCE / E.T. ON LOCATION]

Male Announcer: [voice-over] The steel is real and Adrian has the scars to prove it.

Adrian Paul: I've had my hand split open quite a few times. I seem to-- See this finger, this particular finger here? [holds up index finger on right hand] I just had split open again.

Male Announcer: [voice-over] Today, there's an added element of danger. The action is taking place in a crumbling World War II era submarine base in France. [clip of Quickening explosions in submarine pen] It's just one more concern for Paul, who's directing this episode.

Adrian Paul: [talking to crew/actors offscreen] As he turns, bang, whip, drop, cut.

Adrian Paul: [talking to E.T. camera] We have to be a little careful here. As you can see there are holes all over the floor. And actually, when I was scouting this location, I actually fell through one of them.

Male Announcer: [voice-over] So did one of the actors. [Clip of crew helping Richard Ridings out of a hole.] The actor's trousers and his pride suffered the most damage.

Adrian Paul: [voice-over] It's dangerous, but it's usually not the dangerous locations that get you. It's when you don't expect it to happen, it happens.

Male Announcer: [voice-over] Paul's speaking from experience.

Adrian Paul: [talking to E.T. camera] A simple leap over a banister. And my foot caught the top of the banister... and I went flying.

Male Announcer: [voice-over] But the threat of injury can't compare to the rush sparked by a good sword fight. [clip of Adrian and Val fighting]

Male E.T. anchor: Well, if Adrian seems particularly adept at dancing around problems on the set, it could be because he's studied ballet since he was sixteen. Highlander airs in syndication.
