Early morning departure with a tiny amount of snow accumulation as we started the long drive south. We arrived at Study Butte RV Park at dusk.

driving the River Road (hiked 5.4 miles; 11,800 steps) | ||
| Monday, November 21
Old Maverick Rd to Santa Elena Canyon then returned up Ross Maxwell Scenic Drive (hiked 15.5 miles; 33,000 steps) | ||
| Tuesday, November 22
Pine Canyon, Glenn Spring, Rio Grande Village Nature Trail (hiked 10.2 miles; 21,800 steps) | ||
| Wednesday, November 23
Left Big Bend in the morning. Visited Fort Davis National Historical Site and ate lunch at Cueva De Leon Mexican restaurant in Fort Davis, Tx. Spent the night in a Walmart parking lot in Sweetwater and returned to Sanger on Thursday morning. |
